EPEAT is an acronym for Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool. EPEAT is also a detailed searchable database of the environmental characteristics of over 1000 laptops, desktops, and monitors. EPEAT was created as a tool for use by electronics purchasers but is a comprehensive free resource. The database is at www.epeat.net.
